Piscine Lévesque

Protection action

The reconstruction of the Lévesque Bath in the late 20th century was a subject of considerable debate among neighbourhood residents. They petitioned to express their concern about the lack of public consultation regarding the new building's architectural design. Since that time, the vigilance of residents and the professionalism of the architects have led to successful architectural design, as was recognized by Save Montreal in awarding the 1999 Orange Prize for new construction.
