Louis-Hippolyte-La Fontaine Bridge/Tunnel

Valois Brett & Ouellet, Lalonde & Valois

The firm founded in 1936 by Jean-Paul Lalonde and Roméo Valois expanded to become Lalonde, Valois, Lamarre, Valois et associés in 1961. To carry out the engineering for the bridge-tunnel, the company formed a consortium under the name Valois Brett & Ouellet, Lalonde & Valois, Per Hall & Associates.

In 1971, the consortium was incorporated under the name Lavalin Inc., today known as SNC-Lavalin.
